In September 27th 2010, the Laura Pausini Per Sempre completes 10 years. I always told histories about the days when Laura is here in Brazil, but just few people know about the history of the site. So, on this special occasion, I'm going to tell you about the creation of Laura Pausini Per Sempre.

Ok, so, let's start!!

Once upon a time, a girl named Priscila had a dream. She dreamed make the best Laura Pausini's website, and... stop!! I'm kidding... I'll tell you the real history...

So... the idea for the site arose some years before its creation. At the time, there were some websites about Laura, and just a few information about her, because the internet was not popular as today. I felt so great the prospect of having one website! Yes, because besides being a tribute to Laura, could help with publicity (as I said, the information at the time were almost zero).

With that in mind, on July, 2000, I was determined to make a website about her. The only problem was how to do, because I did not understand anything at all about how to make websites, and also because from the beginning I put in my head that would make the site by myself. It seems silly, but never asked for help in creating the site, because the Laura Pausini Per Sempre was my gift to Laura. So it would make sense to have a "team" for the website or have someone do things.

In fact, I had a hard work, because I learned by myself how to do a website. I hadn't Photoshop...

On August, 2000, Laura Pausini came to Brazil, and then I decided to make the website. I worked very hard and I used all my free time. So, in September, I finished the website.

Ok, so, the website was released on September 27th. I choose that day, just because I love the number 7!! (I'm not crazy, ok? >_<)

At that time, I had not my own domain, so my website was hosted on HPG. Oh, my God... I hated the publicity banners... so, in 2003 I finally bought my own domain.

During these 10 years, you saw all the website evolution. Since 2000, the Laura Pausini Per Sempre website appears on the links of Laura's Official website. I also received two e-mails from Laura herself, telling me she visited my website.

The Laura Pausini Per Sempre website also had a lot of memorable moments over the years. Was appeared in newspapers and famous websites in Brazil, like HPG and Radio Click.

In 2004, I had a big surprise when my website won the 1º place in the "Laura's Web" contest, performed by Laura Pausini's official fanzine, which rewarded the best website of Laura in the world. For me, it was absolutely amazing, since it was a popular vote where no predetermined options, and all sites around the world about Laura Pausni were competing.

But for me, the greatest recognition came during the 2004 promotour, when Laura was in Brazil. That was when she told me personally that she knew about the website Laura Per Sempre and thanked me (watch it here). I have no words to describe what I felt. She made it all worthwhile.

When I set out to create the site, I never imagined how he might become known, after all, was "just my tribute to Laura."

I still remember that commemorated each visit in the first months of the site, and when after a long time, was 1,000 visits. I called my mother to see the counter! hauahuahuaha ... like: "Mum! Mumm! More than 1,000 people visited my site about Laura!". And she said: "Wow, congratulations!" looking at me like "My daughter is nuts" ... kkkkkkkkkk

Today, thanks to you guys, the website has an average 3,000-4,000 visits per month.


Thanks to everyone who has ever attended the website with his visits during these 10 years, and that helped make the Laura Pausini Per Sempre one of the most popular websites about Laura Pausini in Brazil and worldwide.

I will take this opportunity to apologize for a long time without updates on the website. Unfortunately I do not have much time available as ten years ago to dedicate myself to the website daily. But, we will celebrate together the 15, 20, 25, 30 ... 50 years of Laura Pausini Per Sempre, because it will be here forever.
